The brainfarts in control at CBC should just play the sounds of toilets flushing before the broadcast as anything they manage to procure via this pathetic "constest" will pale in comparison to the original theme they should have fought to secure forever. Classic Cranial-Rectal inversion syndrom.  :-X

Either way the CBC done themselves a massive diservice by flubbing something that iconic,to not only not choose to keep it but watch the competition snap it up and then point and laugh at them afterwards.

I however will not be running to the competition for thier newly found theme song in hopes that they have inproved thier coverage at the games as CBC is still far away the BEST overall braodcast for hockey on the planet, and TSN or any other upstart has a loooooong road to get to the standards that people are accustomed to.

We can only hope the CBC thinktank revokes thier idiot contest and throws out a rope Stompin Tom and gets the OTHER national anthem for hockeys holy day.

As for the flush of the toilets pertaining to the Leafs upcoming losses we're already immune to it..flush away.
