In a photo of 155 SD&GHighlanders, made in Hilversum, are approximately 30 soldiers who served the Mortar Platoon of Platoon Officer Maj. Joe Donihee.
There’s a special “Numbered photo” made for everybody who want to help me to find a name (or names) of the Mortarmen, numbered from #106 up to #135.
There are already soldiers identified by Veteran Doug Vidler on March 7th. last:
#106 Gilpin GV - #107 Phillips GW - #109 Vandeloo JP - #110 Collard TW - #111 Buchanan . . . ? - #112 Lapell BB - #117 Vidler DR – #118 Ramsden JF – #120 Hickey CB - #122 Flood CC - #126 Whiteland - #127 Link JA and #135 Vandeloo PA.
If you want to see the 155 Glengarrian in detail, just go to the site (of Mrs Nancy Shaver, who was so kind to put the image on her site) were you also can find my e-mail address:

or directly to the detailed numbered version:

To make the communication about the identified soldiers easy, all the soldiers have their own personal number – from 1 up to 155.
If you can support me in this way, I promise to send you an original large digital file by e-mail. This means, the quality of the image is quite good and clear.
