Here's an eye opener for those who seek to do good will in foreign countries. Six Bulgarian doctors and nurses (the doctor being a former Palestinian) spent eight years in a LIbyan prison after a Libyan court convicted them of infecting over 400 Libyan children with HIV/AIDS.
The hypocrisy? Libya was praised for its humanitarian efforts for finally releasing the inmates (rather than condemned for its witch hunt police practices) and allowing to serve the rest of their life sentence in Bulgaria. They were, of course, immediately pardoned by the President of Bulgaria after they got home.
