Hi Guys,      just curious if anyone, especially armorers might have had a chance to see or fire the British Lanchester smg or as the Brits refered to a "Machine Carbine". it is a copy of the German MP28 and fires the 9mm, was mainly issued to the Royal Navy, possibly the RCN may have acquired some from RN, apparently were still in RN ships armories into the 1970's.Maybe Wes might have had experience "Down Under" with this well made, but heavy  { 9.5lbs} smg

I had a chance to fire it  (and dozens more) at a foreign wepaons display put on by 7th SFG,I was underwhelmed to say the least, too heavy and suffered many stoppages on that day. The "Silent Sten" now that thing was a piece of work, quiter than the MP5SD.
