Can you really blame NDHQ for being scared ****less by Maclean‘s magazine? They do have to answer to the government which is the way it should be. You‘ve seen the PM try to wear a kevlar helmet, so you know he‘s a little out of touch.
LDA is mostly just a reminder of what your responsibilities and rights are. In our unit, there was a lot of emphasis during LDA put on the 10 principles of leadership. It was well done, I thought, and the worst thing that can happen is you get a day‘s pay for sitting in the classroom.
I‘d be interested in your thoughts after you‘ve actually done the training.
