Res NCM to Reg Off

I went over to the dark side from the PRes almost a year ago, and right now I'm fighting to get my pay level back, based on the right to pay stuff that covers UTPNCM applicants. Has anyone else been through this fight? I'm basically looking for any advice on how you went about it. I'm basically sending a memo in requesting my time be recognized and that my pay be changed to reflect my previous service (6 years B/C time). If that gets turned down (it probably will), I plan on grieving that decision. This makes the most sense to me. Any advice?

I don't think the vested right to pay that applies to UTPNCM and other NCM to Officer plans (CFR, Special Commissioning etc) applies to a Res NCM successfully applying as a Reg Offr. What Officer entry plan are you under?
