Here are some pictures that were taken in Ottawa. The pictures are not terribly good but I had few opportunities and the weather was truly miserable. At the end of the ceremony, I kneeled at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and laid my poppy to rest with him. However I did not take any pictures out of respect. I'd like to take the occasion to thank all the members of the Canadian Forces, whether presently serving or retired. Thank you.

Great pics, Blindspot.  I especially like the one of "Joe".  Seeing men such as this serve as great inspiration to those of us currently serving.

Great pictures 

Looks like "Joe" was in the FSSF. I recognize the unit patch and the combat infantrymans badge. I don't recognize his cap badge however. Would that be from his parent unit, the one he was in prior to joining the "Devils Brigade"?
