Open to opinions on where to begin my officer career based on knowledge (hopefully up-to-date) and experience with either of the mentioned trades.
1. How long is the DP1 course for each trade? And where is the course done?
2. How good/quick (subjective, I know) is the career progression?
3. How often are you "in the field" and/or away from home, and for how long, typically.
4. What is the typical/expected day-to-day of the trade?
5. How good would you say the postings are by comparison, in your opinion?
