The OPP says military police contacted them Tuesday after discovering the body of Jasmine Reid of Trenton in her residence at the sprawling air base.

Police say the investigation is in the early stages and have not released any details about the death, including whether Reid was a member of the military.

A post-mortem has been scheduled for Wednesday at the Ottawa Hospital.
