Pilot's View: Airbus A380 approach and landing at San Francisco.
The Airbus A-380 First Landing at SFO with 800 Plus Passengers.
The Pilots sit away from everything! No Yoke, Etc. The Captain pulls up a
keyboard once in a while to enter information, but the Aircraft does most
of the work.

This Humongous A380 makes its First Landing at the San Francisco
Airport. It seems Extensively Automated. The Air Traffic Controller gives
them Heading, Altitude, Speed, and they Dial It In. Pretty interesting!

For the best results, go to 'Full Screen' on your Monitor. It
will seem like you are in the Cockpit with them.

PilotsEye.tv is a documentary series that puts high-definition cameras in the cockpits of commercial flights and captures every hand movement, radio message, and window view from the perspective of the pilots flying the plane. This clip comes from a DVD release of the 12th episode in the series, following the final flights of the highest-ranking Lufthansa pilot, Jurgen Raps, as he lands a Lufthansa Airbus A380 in San Francisco International Airport. Its dynamic editing not only makes the video thrilling to watch, but very informative for anyone who wants to get of a sense of the processes and procedures involved in landing an airplane. Also worth reading: this in-depth review of the Pilotseye.tv episode. (h/t LaughingSquid)
