Pilots and SLT

I found other topics on this but they are super old.

Does anyone have any info on what is happening for Pilots and SLT these days?

I am scheduled to finish IAP/BOTP 14 Jul 06, and I know that they are running the full 33 week SLT crse starting 05 Sept 06.

Are pilot types being loaded on these courses these days, or is it still one of those "you'll get around to it, you have more pressing things to take care of?" attitudes still?

I start SLT 12 Jun 06 for 9 weeks, after finishing BOTP.  This is because I'm ROTP civi u though, and go back to school in the fall. Things may be different for DEO/CEOTP etc.

Yes, you are doing SLT. After SLT you will get a paid move to wait for Moose Jaw.

For now, the wait for Moose Jaw is 14-18 months.  Plenty of time for pre-requisite Training (SERE, Sea Survival, AMT) and SLT.  If you are a francophone, you'll need at least CBC to get on course.
