Most likely due to your behaviour and perceived attitude ...
That was a joke, I'm sure neither I nor Mr. Bolan actually thought I was feeling harrassed. Obviously I'm too subtle for my own good sometimes. Please, sleep sound in the knowledge that noone was feeling harrased.
.i.e. are you one of those who enjoys trolling and picking fights?
If so, please stop trolling here.
To answer you question, no, my purpose here is not to "troll", and franky I'm a little miffed that you even brought that up. If, in turn, you found any of my comments to be uncivil or offensive, please point it out to me. I would hate for this discussion to fall to such depth. It will be my loss, as I've much to learn from experienced and knowledgeble members such as yourself.
I would be perfectly willing to PM a logical and honest answer to your question, if/and/or when you grow T F U.
But if you did, wouldn't all the information operations stuff go out the window?
Also your sarcasm, sentence structure, grammer, and observation skills would indicate to me that you are clearly misrepresenting yourself.
Irrelevent to the argument at hand. Whether I am misrepresenting myself or not has naught to do with the subject of armour, patrolling, afghanistan, or alert states. According to the board rules, I am not obliged to disclose any personal information in the profile. I admit that I am not, in fact, an air cadet, it was meant to be an attempt at humor. I can reset the profile if it bothers you.
How am I expected to take you serioously.
Then don't.
Doesn't make me wrong though, does it? Make fun of me all you want, at the end of the day, there's still a picture on this forum showing a soldier patrolling in A'stan without armour. That's all I've ever claimed to know.
I'm also somewhat bemused at the needless references to one's "profile" that we seem to love so much. I honestly have not bothered to look at anyone's profile here. If I'm stating a fact, then either I am right or I am wrong( and I've provided references to all my sources, with caveats if I think they are unreliable). If I am giving an opinion, it either makes sense or it doesn't. I've not made any claims( at least in this post) on anecdotes or personal experiences. So what on earth does my profile have to do with this? The argument's a little weak don't you think?
Gentlemen, while I like sharp, critical thinking as much as anyone else, I'm a little dismayed at the belligerent reception I've been given. Misspelled posts written in capital letters by children inquiring about where to buy cadpat for airsoft games seeminly deserve courteous, helpful replies, while mine do not. Why is this? I expected well thought out, intelligent discussion from you, and I've tried to provide the same. Please don't prove me wrong.
