I think BW has many spots available for Walter Mitty types - try there Mark...
Actually come to think of it, i think they might have enough so you're shit out of luck..
You could always transfer to the CAG i know they'd just love someone of your experience - ARSE CLOWN!!
Love ya work Troy!!!!!!!!
That is all...........
Mark,
I have been fowarded on your CV buy an American buddy of mine who I worked with previously. It was in regards to getting vetted for HRS work in Iraq and possibly Afghan. As you surely know in this kind of work YOU DO AND CAN GET VETTED. The Aus Defence force is a small one and the amount of Aus guys that have done Security time is even smaller.
Now Mark I am not going out on a limb here to say your CV is full of TOTAL, TOTAL BULLSHIT!!! Yes that is correct I am spelling your name with a capital(even though you don't deserve it you lying piece of
shite?) but I am calling you out on your CV??? Care to correct me?
Lets address the parts I have come across as bullshit??
"I served in 1st Field Regiment, (Artillery) at Enoggera whilst in the Army and with the following units whilst in the Air force, No 2 & 3 Airfield Defence Squadrons (SASR Equivalent & Trained) at RAAF Base Amberley & No 1 Federation Guard Tri Services Unit in Canberra"
I can't vouch for the elite 1st Field Regiment BUT I can say that No.2 and 3 Airfield Defence guards are NOT the equivalantly trained as our SF guys.. In fact I seem to remember putting YOU through a 2IC Section Leaders course at Canungra one year, ONLY to have you fail miserably and not being able to operate and hump the gun(Mag 58) and Canungra's hills?? Could this be so? Especially since you are SASR equivalent?
C'mon on, we both know the truth here!
"I have also been the youngest successful RAAF member to pass and be offered transfer to the SASR during 2001 selection course"
Have you just?? Funnily enough all the people I KNOW who did do SASR Selection in 2001 don't remember you?? In fact they only remember a couple of RAAFie's on selection in 01'. One being a RAAF Officer and the other being an ADG?? Surely you can explain more??
· East Timor (INTERFET) 1999 & 2006
· Solomon Islands (RAMSI) 2006
· IRAQ 2003
· Afghanistan 2004
· Boxing day Tsunami Humanitarian Aid Rescue Force,
Banda Ache Indonesia
· Bali Rescue Team
· 2000 Sydney Olympics Force Protection (Counter Terrorism)
· 2002 Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting
(CHOGAM)2006 Commonwealth Games Force Protection (Counter Terrorism)
Ok then where do I start? You were in TImor? Funny that I thought it was only 99% 2AFDS guys in Timor? I don't remeber hearing your name about? I am willing to be proved wroing though? IRAQ in 2003? There were only 2 deployments of ADG's to Iraq in 2003, I was on one of them and I KNOW the guys who replaced me AAAAAAANNNNNNDDD guess what??? YOU WERE NOT ONE OF THEM??? I know you wern't in Afghan in 04', maybe a nearby country if possible BUT not Afghan. As for the Tsunami releif mind telling us all the exact dates and places you were??? Seriously I could go on for eveeer on this section BUT it is boring me and I am sure the rest of our readers want to hear more??
Medals Awarded:
· East Timor (INTERFET) 1999 & 2006
· Solomon Islands (RAMSI) 2006

Banda Ache Indonesia
· Bali Rescue Team
· 2000 Sydney Olympics Force Protection (Counter Terrorism)
· 2002 Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGAM)
· 2006 Commonwealth Games Force Protection (Counter
Terrorism)
Oh really these are your gongs?? These go hand in hand with my last spiel.. Please elaborate more on your certain awards??? Are you sure there is no VC there at all??

Whilst most of your promo courses could be true, but a few of the other ones on here highlight "bullshit".....
"Special Air Service courses?" I have sent this out to many a past and presnt Regiment members to verify these courses, however I think bullshit again?
What year did you do your Sniper course?
Same goes for Close prtection course?
What about RTI?
Answers??I am waiting?
The next section I would like to address is the "current qualifications" section. It would be too long winded to ask for copies of your Certs regarding these courses wouldn't it?
Your experience on weapons is a joke to say the least.. I find it hard that you have shot many of them, but AGAIN I am will to be proven wrong.
I am looking foward to your answers..
Yours faithfully
Troy
There you go mate....I still haven't received a response from him but I have from many others!
Troy
Mark
I send this to you in response to an email that was sent to me containing your CV for validation and credibility, being the top security specialist you are you would understand that this is done as a matter of course to ensure a high standard of professionalism is maintained within any top rate Security and Risk Management Company.
To be completely honest I'm not to sure where to begin…..is it with
· "I served in 1st Field Regiment, (Artillery) at
Enoggera whilst in the Army and with the following units whilst in the Air force, No 2 & 3 Airfield Defence Squadrons (SASR Equivalent &
Trained) at RAAF Base Amberley & No 1 Federation Guard Tri Services Unit in Canberra" or perhaps we could look at
· "I have also been the youngest successful RAAF
member to pass and be offered transfer to the SASR during 2001 selection course" or then there's my favourite
· "I have also had the privilege of providing
Close Personal Protection on General Peter Cosgrove during East Timor
1999 & Queen Elizabeth II" There's just too many to choose from.
Of course we could look at the myriad of courses that you state you have completed including Special Forces Training Cell Small Arms Instructors Course and Special Air Service Close Target Reconnaissance Course two courses that I have been assured by former SASR personnel do not exist.
If you knew anything about the Private Security Industry you would know just how small the industry really is, and when you start bandying about statements such as SASR equivalent and "embellishing"
your CV to an extreme standard where it is out and out lying you would also know that this would be investigated further. The fact that you didn't know any of this and chose to lie about so many things proves in itself you have no place working a late night shopping center shift as a part time chubb security guard for coles let alone as part of a PSD Team working within an hostile environment where lives around you depend on your integrity and skill sets that you obviously don't possess.
The road to employment in Iraq, Afghanistan, Africa or any other hostile working environment for a potential contractor is not an easy one. It's not quite as easy as bunging out a false CV and expecting that those reading it on the other side of the world are as naive and intellectually inept as you. I know because I have had to hold good to all that I have in my CV. I have been in Iraq long enough to know the game and pretenders like yourself are found out sooner rather than later…..Its an unfortunate state of affairs when some do slip though but usually after the first IED or the rocket those around them are quick to realise something is awry. Fortunately you have saved yourself the hassle of finding out the hard way; you have guaranteed yourself a name amongst the PSC community that will not be easily forgotten. Instead of perhaps cruising under the radar with an "embellished" CV you chose instead to hang a neon flashing sign from it and attract attention that required someone to do some research.
You can give yourself a pat on the back for that one.
Furthermore on a personal note, I find your CV insulting to those ADGs that are constantly trying to better themselves and enhance the mustering by conducting themselves in a professional way and excel in the various courses and deployments that they are sent on. The fact that there are dickheads like you out there that need to bullshit to cover up for their own inadequacies and failures make it an uphill battle trying to change the opinion of outsiders such as the Infantry that we are not as they believe all a bunch of useless blue wanna-be soldiers. Thanks to you and yours the fight to loose that stigma has just become one step harder.
Let me save you the sleepless nights of worry and wonder about if you will be offered a position with Triple Canopy, YOU WONT.
Regards
Troy
