I had 14 hrs to kill in Honolulu on my way thru to Vancouver and Regina....

I did the USS Arizona Memorial, and the Mighty Mo, before heading back to the USO lounge at the Airport.  Here is a few pics.

Truly moving at the Memorial, and the Mighty Mo, well, what a ship that is.

What honour it was to walk the decks of so much history, and the place where the Japanese surrendered back in 1945.

The last two pics is where MacArthur was seated for the surrender.

Should you ever get a chance to get to Hawaii, these places are a must.

Wow.. the place the ended the war. Nice shots.. I've always wanted to visit Pearl Harbour. Kind of gives me goose pimps.
