It is my understanding that for the Reserves, it's possible to do a trade course before SQ, if that's how the timing works out. Does the Reg Force work this way, too? For example, I just learned that the next trade course that I could possibly be on is in January 2006. I have been merit listed and am anxiously awaiting the call. So, if I were to make it to a BMQ this fall sometime, I wouldn't have enough time to complete (or even start!) my SQ. Is it possible that I could still make the January trade training and do my SQ afterwards? Or is it more likely that I will have to wait for the next trade course? (I'm speaking about 291).
