So - Another liberal in the House. Big surprise - they went Conservative only once in that riding, and it was a looong time ago. No biggie - they still need at least one of their independants... However - now we move onto Ottawa-Nepean where Marlene Catteral has announced her intention to retire, and the sharks are circling... So - I am a-gonna sneak into the riding association meeting at the end of the month, and let y'all know how it looks, and who is who in the zoo!

apperently the bush backer is going to be invited back into the liberal caucus at the end of the week.

"The liberals could have run a dog up there and won."

That is what they used to say in Renfrew - Nipissing - Pembroke, and then they went on to vote in the first Reform Member of Parliament East of the ON/MB border.

Sadly, there are "traditional seats" in Canada, prized by all the Political parties. No surprise in NF LAB
- and the Catteral situation, which will most likely result in another Liberal being elected, is considered
as far as I know, a safe seat for them. MP Carolyn Parrish will be back in the Liberal fold by the end
of this week, but in reality, she never left, simply got kicked out for her ill-considered remarks. So
there will be no Federal election for many months - this should, if common sense prevails, give the
Conservatives time to examine their priorities, find some new, experienced advisors for Harper,
(Lougheed, Mulroney, Williams, Binns) and more public forays, etc. The forensic auditors who just
presented their report to Judge Gomery are the most competent in the America's, which will lead
into lots of backtracking and sputtering from Martin's flunkies. Country after all, needs a change in
direction.MacLeod
