Occupational Transfer in the Reserve Force

Is it hard to transfer trades in the reserve force?

Say I want to cook for a year and then get a change of heart and request transfer to a combat arms trade?

Would it be difficult?

1. Particularly with support trades, there are fewer course openings than soliders. Units would be loathe to use one for someone planning to change occupation.

2. Few Army Res units will have support and cbt arms positions in the same unit, you would likely have to change units as well as occupations.
