IAP and BMQ, do I have to do both.

Im in the ROTP know and want to switch over to an ncm.  I've already taken Iap so am I going to now have to take BMQ.  The courses are very similar so I'm not sure.  The reason I'm switching is because I picked a trade that resulted in having to take a program Im not academically fit for.  If you guys are considering ROTP think long and hard what programs correspond with each trade, I didn't pay much attention to that.

I can't provide a referenced answer, but when I did IAP/BOTP we had a few members on course who decided that they wanted to switch to an NCM trade. They were required to stay for several weeks of BOTP to make sure they had the equivalency for BMQ, specifically CBRN warfare. After that they got their bypasses and were loaded on the next courses for their new trades. Given that, I would say you're going to have to take BMQ as well.
