Does anyone know if the CF recognizes Humanism et al. as a "religion"?  Also, does one have the right to not stand (or observe) during a prayer at a military function, ie. Mess Dinner. If the CF is tolerant towards all religions (within reason ie. KKK...) then should they not be just as tolerant to those members who's views (beliefs??)deal with Humanists idealogogy, Atheism, Freethinkers, etc... as their form of "religion"?  It seems that the State and Religion in not seperate, and alive and well in the CF.

the CF In accordance with the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms and the Canadian Human Rights Act, the policy of the Canadian Forces is to accommodate the fundamental religious requirements of its members.
