I will do my interview in a few weeks. After that I still have my medical. How long does it usually takes after the interview before you get your offer.

Agreed however if everyone just did searches here, what would the point in having a forums, as long as it took you to type "this has been discussed numerous times. Do a search" you could have easily typed a few reason why its hard to really tell.

You aren‘t even at a stage where you can be considered until your medical is done and reviewed in Borden, so don‘t feel like they have passed you over if you don‘t hear anything right away.
You have a while to wait.
I would call in every once in a while to check and see if they have any time slots for medicals opening up (due to cancellations etc.) sooner than the one you have schedualed now. That way if you get your medical done prior to your interview it can be sent for review immediately after you complete your interview. It would save you some time in the end. Especially if they need you to collect documents from your family doctor/specialists etc. because that can eat up a bunch more time.

I‘m reopening my file after 5 year...It is all in from Ottawa already....I dind`t have to do the aptitude test again...I already qualified with ‘I guess` the result I had when I first did it...Thanks for the advice of calling...I did that already and I saved 6 weeks on my interview taking the place of someone who cancelled.All I wish is that after interview they will give me an appointment for medical right away...after this I know I‘ll just have to wait...Hurry up to wait...That is what they say....thx for advices

Good luck MY, it takes a while, my medical took about 4 weeks to come back. What trade are you going for?. I really suggest just staying in close touch with your recruiter, that way they seem to always be on top your file.

It really didn‘t take me that long at all, in actual fact I was on a merit list on the 6th of January and I got my call last month with an offer. I guess it all depends on your situation. Good luck to MY and I hop ethat you get your offer soon. Just keep your head up
