Hi, I'm writting a political science paper trying to separate legal combatants, unlawful combatants, and terrorist (I understand sometimes the later two mix), and I have found some usefull stuff on Wiki, however I was wondering if anyone has handy or remembers the actual pam taught definitions? I swear I still had the notes somewere from BIQ but cannot find them anywere.
Basically all I need to know is the grey area between a uniformed enemy solider representing the state, a uni fromed enemy rebel, and a un-uniformed rebel still part of a group (like the taliban). Obviously the state representatives are soldiers, and groups like Alqueda are terrorist, but were do you draw the lines?
This is a short paper, so don't go out of your way, but any response would be appreciated.
Cheers,
-Adrian
