Health Services Management officer

I’ve applied for health services management officer position couple of months back. Today I was informed from the detachment centre that I need to go for another occupation or close my application till next fiscal year. Do anybody know when each officer number gets decided for next year.Also can we proceed with another occupation and change to HSM after medical and interview is completed?

Every year in the Oct - Jan timeframe every occupation undergoes an Annual Military Occupation Review, or AMOR.

The AMOR identifies among many other things the intake required for the following year, looking at things like current strength, current number of personnel on the training list, and training capacity.

That requirement is consolidated, prioritized, and converted into the Strategic Intake Plan that directs recruiting for the following fiscal year.

Only in Feb they will have new numbers for the years and star the recruitment again right?

The intake plan runs April to March.
