Pack up our kit hop in the MLVW and drive off the range past the mod tent being used as a gas hut for a BMQ course. The ML starts to puff white smoke out of the exhaust = major air lock. Truck dies, downwind of the gas hut. No NBC gear for any of us (we won‘t need that were just going to the range - famous last words). It was a very windy day in Burwash, getting the ML going again was not fun for us. For the guys with NBC gear it was friggin hilarious watching us trying not to puke while fixing the truck.
Turns out on top of the air lock in the ML, it was also filled up with very old jerry cans full of bad fuel. The stuff looked like someone had poured a couple of bags of milk into the tank.
Still better than sitting in cubicle **** on Monday.
