DOT certifaction

Is the current Canadian army helmet DOT / Snell certified? I've tried google to no avail.

Gallets other helmets the MICH / ACH and variants are.  No idea why it is not though - maybe no one asked them too.

There not dot approved there meant to stop a ricocheting bullet not to be worn while riding your hog.

I was wearing mine on my quads for a bit untill I was told that I had to get the DOT/ Snell rating or I would be ticketed.
It looks better than my other helmets.
And I like to stand out

I know you can get DOT and SNELL cert German WWII helmats that look cool with a Chopper. But Cadpat Helmat................................meh. Sounds Sketchey.

I have actually seen a helmet save a guys life in the back of a gun tractor (Arty ML) in a severe accident. But I wouldn't test it on my bike or atv.

Just because I know I could wear it dosn't mean I would try it. It only takes one bad crash to convince you it didn't work.
