Hey, I'm curious once I'm done BMQ (Feb 1) what could I expect to have happen.. I know there's a few possibilities: sent to Borden (where my supply tech QL3's will be), sent for OJT, or maybe sent to do sailor training (I chose wear Navy colors, but not sure if I'd do this before QL3's)... I know it's impossible to know for sure but I'm wondering if anyone has an idea of whats likely to happen? I've heard that Borden is pretty crowed with people on PAT and some are getting sent on OJT.
I'm from the CFB Greenwood area, so being sent to Halifax for sailor training or even sent to Shearwater/Halifax/Greenwood for OJT could be pretty convenient... What factors go into wear some one is placed on OJT? Is CF need the main one, or could being fr. a base play a role? could I chose wear to go? probably not but still curious.
Any insight from recent BMQ graduates would be appreciated.
