Hello, I’m looking to OT pretty soon and have a few questions on a trade I am interested in which is construction Tech. I’m a girl, and I have mill work experience from working part time in the civy side. My question is, how accepted are woman in this trade. I am pretty aware that as long as you can pick up the weight shouldn’t be a problem, but it would be nice some insight about that.
I’m also wondering how busy is the trade. Are there opportunities to travel and work on some interesting projects? I don’t have kids and pretty much giving my life to the military so if there is opportunity to deploy it would be a dream.
