The CP Gear Cadpat Hardshell Jacket is an all-season alternative to stealth suits, the ICE/IECS jacket and parka, and the green rubber rain jacket. The lightweight shell design maximizes waterproof/breathability efficiency and minimizes bulk and weight. The jacket is constructed of a trilaminate composite fabric; Outer layer is Cadpat TW Supplex nylon that is hard wearing, yet soft and highly water repellent. Laminated to the outer nylon is a waterproof/breathable PU membrane which blocks liquid water from entering, but allows for moisture vapor (evaporating sweat) from the inside to pass through The inner layer is a static-dissipative nylon tricot. All three materials are bonded into one single piece of fabric to provide what is known as a ‘hardshell’ material. All interior seams are tape-sealed for complete waterproofness.

Waterproof armpit ventilation zips. 'Cobra' style Hood rolls up into collar when not in use. ‘Napoleon’ style upper chest pockets. Lower Cargo pockets with handwarmer pockets behind. Sleeve Pockets which are accessible when wearing body armor/tac vest. Shock corded drawstrings at the waist and bottom hem allow for the garment to be adjusted to the. wearer's preference.
