Question, if you are in the front rank, and your name is called, would you walk straight out to the officer, or would you march to B, and then wheel out towards the officer?

Also,

                Officer

AXXXXXXXXXB  XXXXXXXXXC
XXXXUXXXXXX  XXXXXXXXXX
XXXXXXXXXXX  XXXXXXXXXX

If there are two troops, and your name is called while standing in the second rank, would you march through both troops, or would you use the middle for leaving and entering (being in either of the two troops)? After accepting the award and you complete your pace back, salute, right turn, would you still march towards C, and then infront of both troops?

I can't find the answers in the pam.

Thanks.

Come to attention, step forward, turn right, march to the end of the rank, turn left. Take the shortest direct route to the presentation area. Halt, salute, step forward.

Step back, salute, turn right. Take the shortest direct route back to the left marker of your rank and pass behind them. Turn left, proceed to your vacant space, turn left and halt. Stand at ease.

If you're in the front rank just go straight forward, halt, salute etc. Return as if you were in any other rank by passing behind the left marker of your rank.
