I'm okay with Vista after some time learning about it but haven't seen anything earth moving to convince me that it was a needed upgrade. Maybe someone who uses these things a whole lot more than I can clarify?

Moe, if I were you I wouldn't bother right now. At leastnot until the patches are available to correct the gangfucks that seem to happen with this program. My laptop came loaded with it so I have no choice but to learn the system and quit my Sim City addiction cold turkey.

FWIW My IT guy at work told me to pay for XP and install it on my home PC cause it shipped with Vista and Microsoft is likely to stop supporting Vista cause even they know it sucks.
