This whole issue was inevitable going from 100+ Tutors to a score of Harvard IIs.......that and the military use to maintain it's training fleet....my 2 cents.....

My two cents....if being a pilot is what you want to do, keep trying. You only do ASC once so if you get it, you can always apply when things open up. It means you have the necessary skills/aptitudes to one day be given the opportunity to fly. That being said, i've served 11 years before...
Knowing many people in the MP community, and given that their work is highly classified, i'm sure they get to do some pretty cool stuff to break the monotony of 13 hour sovereignty patrols. I can only imagine this is one of many things they can't receive credit for. BZ MP :salute:

In Germany during the Nazi rule 1933-1945, they had youth programs very similar to our cadet program here. Once 12 Y/O, you went more or less mandatory to one of these as dictated by your family. I imagine this gentleman was in the air branch of the Hitler Youth. Hope this helps, great story...

My best advice to everyone for ASC is do what you're told, relax, enjoy the experience and some things are beyond your control. Oh and it is 2 types of trainers but don't fret....i'm 6'4" ;)
