Well, I suffered a fractured vertebrae while on duty, and almost 3 years later, am waiting for my release date. Chronic pain and other issues make it so I completely breach the universality of service.

...I did a search, so sorry if it's been posted already, but I just got my pay statement and noticed that PLD is not taxed anymore. Plus is it supposed to be deposited separately??

Awesome, thanks alot. I had been accumulating bridge fare and Km's etc all this time thinking my own insurance company would cover it, but just found out today that since I wasn't in my own vehicle they don't cover anything. I have 6000 kms to claim!
As for the CF98, I had my back broken...
Sorry to bump and old post, but since we aren't inusred, what happens if someone is seriously injured in a DND vehicle and is looking to make claims for travel expenses, incidentals, etc?
How would one go about figuring out how to make claims?

Thanks Combat Doc. When I brought the idea of a remuster vs. medical release up to my doctor, he said that is not happening as much anymore. Essentially he said, if I have x amount of limitations, the other career managers would not be likely to accept my limitations if my own trade won't.
