Theres a lot to be said about endurance. Once upon a time I could do 90 pushups in a row, now I can only do 50...yet I am much stronger than I used to be. Obviously it's not all about brute strength however I have to agree that you can easily increase to 70+ pushups by just doing pushups, sure...

They seem to believe military funding has a linear relationship to "peacefulness" however would it not more likely be more of a curve? For example;1 and 5 both most likely leading to waring nations and 3 being more a deterrent force.

It would be a good idea to expect no pay for the first 30-45 days and to have enough funds to support your bills for that amount of time. Not that it WILL take that long but from what I can remember for some recruits it took quite a long time to get the correct pay.

They're fine. It's all in how you wear it.
