So here goes.
I have currently applied for Rotp with half of my university degree completed. I have read from this forum that the selection is coming around the end of February. The people at the recruiting center have confirmed it to...
I am taking University course in Quebec which makes the total degree 3 years long instead of 4. When I applied in September I did so for Civ-U only and was told it was ok as by the time I was accepted (if I was) It would be a waste of money for them to pay RMC for me as I will have 1.5 years of...
I am in the same situation as you. I am in my second year of university therefor they dont want to restart me from scratch at RMC. I have been waiting on the famous merit list since the end of October and I am waiting patiently for the selection board. Any news around what time of March that...
If you apply now and get all your testing done early you will not have to worry about it. If you wait to long and there is a glitch in your process that slows it all down then you might miss your chance as the trade will fill up fast.

I had the same question (because im in the same situation) and it was answered the other day by the Captain at my CFRC. There is no compensation for a winter term. You can only receive your subsidization starting in September. The rules that apply to RMC subsidization apply also to Civi U. Hope...
Good luck to those on the waiting list. I have been on this merit list since the end of October and was told the selection was in December. Did they mention around what date in December. I will be following up with my CFRC to see when but you like to know if anyone else has an idea. By the way I...
I was shown my score at the end of my interview also. I was told it was quite good for the trade I was applying for. However I cant go a compare it to anyone else who is not in the same trade. The captain told me that the score means little. It all depends what others who are trying for the same...
I just came upon this thread and was wondering where I could get this document in its entirety. Reason being is I have applied for ROTP at a civi university and I am waiting for board selection in early December. In January I will have only a year and a half left to complete my degree. So if I...
When I applied this summer my cumulative GPA was 3.00 and I was told that my grades were great (even though I don't think so).
I am assuming you are applying as an electrical engineer. So with those marks I don't see the slightest problem. Remember it is not all about the highest GPA, you have...
I have recently applied for Civi Rotp as a Log officer. I am in my second year in a business program which seems to go well with the job description.
I completed the CFAT, medical and interview back in september. I received a call to notify me that I was on the merit list for the pre-selection...
I started my to run at the beginning of the summer when I decided to start my application.
By then end of the summer I was able to do 2.4km in under 13min which is quite an achievement since I had a decent amount of weight to lose. I would have pain in my calves when doing this type of run...
