Swear In on October 18th. Fly out October 29th. Infantry. Anyone from Edmonton flying out?

Quick questions guys, what is the vision req. for Combat Engineer? I think I'm sitting at a V2 right now and going to BMQ October 31st and doing training for Infantry. and if my eyes get worst than V3...I might consider becoming a eng...since I quaflied if you can have V4 that is.

Depending on your age, and how much you want to join a Combat Arms trade...you might want to look into laser eye surgery.

Got my phone call this morning only. They must of had a selection board between 15th of September and today, cause I got a job offer for PPCLI..and I go to basic October 31st - Feb 3rd.

I would just like to thank everyone on the forums for your help and support...answering all the question's us new guys have asked. Just got the call today 4days after being fully processed, and I got a job offer for PPCLI ( not sure on which regiment ) Start basic October 31st - Feburary 3rd...

lol...sounds good... my friend who went to BMQ last summer said for me to..only wear one pair of clothes the intire time, wash them every night..and iron your folded pile so it looks nice everytime.

I just finished my interview today. Now I'm full processed, now I get to wait for my call... but I guess combat trades are in desprete needs, my officer told me they are 5-6months behind last year. And he said there are prolably going to be selection boards sooner than October 17. I'm going...

I would rather stay through Christmas, rather than put on some unwanted weight during the holiday  :cdn:

Just a question. I have done all the tests ( passed ). And I have my final portion of my application process which is the interview which is scheduled for the 15 of September. I'm just wondering if 031 Regular Infantry are still having selection dates to fill spots because of higher demand for...

I'm 17...just graduated from high school and joining Reg Infantry....fitness test tommorrow.

I would prolably of made it for the September 5th selection...but my recruited told me not to book my fitness test until my medical came back...then I just got a phone call yesterday asking me why I didn't do my fitness yet :crybaby: Oh well I got it on monday :) Don, you are correct... you...

I hoped to make it by September 5th...but I still have to do my fitness and interview. I'm still not sure if my medical has come back from borden yet  ???
