do some reading on this site.. check the recruiting sub forms.. alot of different variables (trade/applicants merits/etc) can affect the time it takes.. keep in contact w/ your CFRC.

Welcome to the site.. my advice: do some reading and use the search function... alot of info your looking for can be found hear, you just got to take some time to find it.

Even though I'm not in the CF yet....This advice seems priceless, starting during BMQ and throughout your CF career. The security forms are a pain (remembering 10 years of info) but I hear that this is just the start of paperwork while in the CF.. no worries

Thanks for the updated info, it's much appreciated.. good to hear that at this time of the year the waiting to start BMQ MIGHT be less compared to a few months ago... makes sense seeing how alot of applicants are probably already processed/started BMQ for the year.. I reapplied in Feb and back...

I'm a 27 year old guy that can appreciate a nice lookin lady, hence the avatar/pic. CDN Aviator is right... I know there's a Xmas break but was just curious when BMQ's stop starting up.. month? I hope/should to be in fairly soon... as long as I get a job offer, the date to start really won't...

Hope not... but was curious considering the holiday break.. figured it might affect the course schedule (recruits returning after), would be nice to have the break though... I hope to merit listed soon (my file is being reviewed by the RMO).

Hi, I just got done calling the CFRC, here's the latest.. my OMD's are finally back (VR'd 09/06/ reapplied 02/07/ did my second interview/medical on 7/17/07) and have been sent of for review by the RMO... during the second medical i had to get a couple minor things(foot rash/urine retested)...

there I fixed the subject header... it was new to me though lol... looked fairly recent compared to other military specials I've seen on TV.

Don't they still give ya a cash advance (around 250) to buy stuff (you need/on the list) at cannex (in the first week)?
