Wow.
I finally got a chance to play this game and boy am I impressed. I'm not normally a fan of console shooters but if there's ever a reason I would buy an XBox360 it would be to play this game on it.

I beleive I remember a very lively discussion about paintball vs. simunition from an older thread. I don't know if we need to rehash everything that was said there... But then again, that discussion never mentioned using real bullets after! :D
To simplify the idea behind these 'induced forces' think of a bicycle. Part of the reason you can balance so easily on a bicycle is because when the wheels are spinning they resist forces that want to change their orientation. Thus if the bike starts to tip a bit to one side, the wheel resists...
I would assume that this weapon spits out the pellets from a curved exit. You might be able to tilt the exit instead of the whole fly wheel to account for elevation/depression...
As for heli's and vehicles wouldn't it depend on the mass that's spinning?

As for integration: highly doubt it... But hey some people...
As I know nuclear power generators generate electricity by heating water that turn steam turbines. The bulk of a generator is not in the generation it is in the shielding and cooling required to keep the reactor from frying people or blowing up (some nice animations here...
