Both the GGF and GF were Perth's, And I grew up in the area. It is a fact that although the Perth Capbadge hangs above the parade square in the armouries, the Perth's Battle Honours were never given to the RCR, the Perth's decided to retire them rather than be amalgamated into another Regt.
The problem with multiple platforms is you now have to support these vehicles, it takes far more logistics, parts etc. Which is why the OP asked if we could get away with just one Armoured cab wrecker, vice a Wrecker and an MRV. Civilian wreckers are not in the scope of the ERC project anyway...
I would not have thought that CFSATE being RCAF would be that top down. Personally being Army I don't have an issue with JrNCO's checking their arms for MWO/CWO and Officers when not wearing headress. But I'm probably a bit old fashioned in this respect.
I do see this happen in Edmonton...
I certainly support a large very capable new wrecker, like this http://oshkoshdefense.com/variants/mkr15-wrecker/ For a combat units A2 Echelon and for the Svc Bn's. But it will be too big to be practical in a A1 Ech. IMHO as an ETQMS at a Inf Bn, we need a LAV MRV like the Stryker MRV...
We had a preview at 1VP before it aired in Alberta, the CBC director said it would likely air nationally in November, but that scheduling is up to the national CBC people.
That is what I understand as well. I seen the planned dist as well, and yes there was a large training fleet to be in Edmonton, now in WX I believe. There was nothing in that document about them being for PRes but being used for units in RTHR training and perhaps driver/crew training for the...
If there is anything it would be CTAT/Demilitarization/Controlled export regs etc. That being said since these are not US rifles in origin, I don't see a reason they could not be sold by Crown Assets to anyone with a FAC....but that's not to say some bean counter is not making up some stupid...
I've not seen a memo required for end of TOS, the written refusal of a TOS is quite enough. You don't need any specific notice to the CO of an end of TOS release, the CoC starting at the Pl Comd/2IC will brief the CO and everyone in between on the fact that you are leaving, but IIRC you do have...
In my experience and sadly supervising mechanics in Edmonton I've processed to many releases, you put a memo in to release, or in this case to release at the end of a TOS. It's just a matter of another memo to the CO to stop the process. However you do have a clock ticking, once the Release...
I've owned a Z10 and a Z30 now, plus older 9900. While phones are really like clothing as what is right for you, you will not find a better communication device on the market. And it is the absolute best physical keyboard you can buy. And while I can type pretty fast on the virtual BB10...
Because we can't afford to wait for Div TC's to load Cpl's on PLQ's. With the attrition rate we have the TC's can't keep up. So it's not just a CM/Corp problem, I know in my RCEME shop I have been loading AL/MCpl on a PLQ within 6 months which is not bad, and in the mean time the MCpl are...
I don't think it's a matter of EO DP1's not being run that often, as there are 2-3 per year, but that they have a max load of 10 students, due to equipment and staff limitations. And at the same time we are running DP2's, Leo OSQ, etc. It is always a balancing act trying to configure what...
Yes people do get into relationships, but the CO also needs his/her unit to operate effectively, and maybe in yours and others situations your relationship doesn't effect morale, but the potential is always their, so yes as in your situation people simply need to be moved to ensure that one...
Most units I have served with have fraternization policies against relationships between supervisors and direct subordinates(ie you are writing or influencing a PDR/PER) at the very least. CF Schools for certain have policies against student/instructor frat. So yes theoretically the accused...
