My take on the calling of the Cpl (in your example) "Sir" is that I am not calling him Sir. The declaration should be given to the officer in charge of the range. The Cpl standing in front of you is only the representative of the OIC to make sure each person gives the proper declaration. Im...
I just pulled up a short 2014 National Remembrance Day video on YouTube and it's clear, to me at least, that retired members wearing their headdress along with their medals is certainly allowed. A large number of vets paraded and I clearly saw the full range of headdress and badges, both...
I don't doubt that for a second. Given the MPCC's penchant for overreach, those with an agenda recognize that if they want to be heard all they need to do is look for an MP connection and make a complaint to the MPCC and they will take care of the rest.
Of course not. Nobody is making light of TBI, PTSD or any medical issue (seen or unseen). My intention was to point out the absurdity of our overly stringent guidelines contrasted to the overly lax standard in the show.
I guess the biggest issue I have with this whole thing, and believe me I see plenty to take issue with, is the fact that it is a very brief anonymous complaint that obviously cannot contain all of the information required to conduct a proper investigation and since the complainant did it...
I agree with Brihard. If you want to do policing in a military environment then go MP (although, with a university degree in Crim you may not qualify since you need a CC diploma in Police Foundations to be an MP off the street). If you want to be an administrator with a badge ( just so they...
Another fine example of "trial by Twitter". While I don't condone what he did I never did feel it was worth firing him for it in the first place. Its not as if he was wearing a Hydro One uniform or driving by in one of their vehicles.
I've served as an assessor and a team leader for a number of MPACs and I've found some know weeks, if not months in advance and a few know a day or so before hand depending upon when a vacancy comes up. All anyone can say is they will call when they call. I know that doesn't help.
Two things could have affected that late selection. Firstly the MP PSO shop was moving from Ottawa to Borden or, more than likely, they had some cancellations they needed to fill at the last moment.
And a good way to make extra points on a leadership course is to know that it is QR&Os, not QRNOs.
Its like an officer I used to work for (actually, he worked for me....I just didn't tell him that) used to talk about PPNS rather then PP&S. Used to give us a chuckle each time he said it.
The only ink I've ever seen on one is where the signature goes. I've been in since 86 and other than hearing people talk about this Monitor Mass if which you speak I've never seen it or tried to log in. My pers just pull up the Adobe version of the CF100, fill it in, hit print, sign and that's...
Monitor Mass? What's that, some new app from Chaplain Branch to cut down on the need to have base chapels? Those who want to can just log in and watch it from their computer.
I personally know of one transgender individual currently in the CAF. I'm sure there are others. After speaking with this individual I learned he was required to pass the same standard medical as everyone else which means that as long as there are no medical limitations due to what ever stage...
