And i honestly don't think you can fake it! Why would anyone want to? Money always seems to be the answer, but to go through all the stigma, lost friendships, career for a few bucks and yes its VA so its a few bucks. So out of all injuries a soldier can recieve money for i would think PTSD/OSI...
Ok i am back!
I am on a course with the Speakers Bureau here in Ottawa about Mental Health and OSI and plus i am a Sgt who you suffer from a OSI from Afghanistan 06. The reason i wrote this post is because i read a post from a person i know very well and mentioned that PTSD is thrown out there...
How many people out there actually think members are Faking PTSD/OSI injuries out there? or could be faking this injury. I suffer from a OSI and was reading a thread and someone mentioned Faking and it kinda hit me and i thought well what do other members think as i have experienced others...
That blanket has no thermal in it whats so freakin ever! haha had it in Afghanistan. Went out in the hills for a few days and lets say it lined my bunk for the rest of the tour and i switched back to the american one but hey it looks good and has some nice add on's.
They came up about a week ago to the 1st Bn and had allot of stuff to give out and such, no pics yet of the vests but they have linked up with the PPCLI kitshop so that stuff could be sold out of there in the near future.
I think that the military has excellent staff on Operations and back at home from my experience. The true problem still lays with the CoC. Not to get into to much detail but i think there is still the black cloud of how to deal with personal on Operations with this problem and from what happend...
What is the process of getting these awards? Is the reason being that troops are not getting them because it gets stop on the way up the chain? I am just curious to see if thats the reason. Any answers just PM me.
It seems to me this will take yrs to get started. All that paper work to go through and such and who makes the decision to say what batch colour you get? CO or higher? and if higher then we all know it will take a long time to get one.
To add more to BDS, i used an iron flip site on my C8, but there were times i used the C79. I fell on my head and got a pair of small binos, so i wouldn't have to place my C79 on my weapon all the time.
i had my own C8 handguard, so i just changed the handguard not the grip, if i needed too. Yeah and CQ's get mad to when you spray paint a new C8 also! ;D
