I've been having trouble getting to FOB Khakrez. I can get to any other AORs with the drop down menu but whenever I select FOB Kharkrez, nothing happens  ???

You should check before making such a statement. If I recall, gcclarke is a naval combat systems engineering officer with an engineering degree.... he might end up as one of your instructors in the future

Agreed. My BMQ/SQ felt more stressful mentally then my engineering degree IMO. It's a completely different type of stress. Congrats on the offer and good luck on your courses guys!

I'm a -4.5 in one eye and 0 in the other and I landed a V4. I was disqualified from all combat arms trades (artillery, armoured, infantry...etc) but there are still other trades available as options if you prefer not to go the laser eye surgery route.

I'm going through the CT process as well and I was told you do need an up-to-date fitness test, either the BFT or the CF EXPRES test. If your fitness test isn't valid, your CT comes to a grinding halt according to my CFRC interviewer. I've inquired regarding booking a CF EXPRES test appointment...

The CF engineering recruiting CD lists applied math as acceptable for all engineering trades and computer math ideal for CELE, EME, and Signals. The NCS ENG and MS ENG entry standards both list electrical or computer engineering as ideal and mathematics as acceptable

My unit parades at the same armoury and I can give you directions if you let me know approximately where you are coming from.

I think the issue is that certain candidates were already  merit listed for the  previous NOAB but couldn't get on so they got first offers for this NOAB. The rest of our files are still on that list waiting to be selected. This is just my guess though, the system itself isn't perfect.
