I looked into the british army awhile ago.  The 2 year residence is now MANIDTORY for NCM.  Sorry guys.....  I don't understand why people are trying to get into the brits without the 2 year residence (because CF seem to take to long for some people) plus the extra waiting time for application...

Personally I think thats out of line....  Whenever I had to be reimbursed from recruiting they it bang on the spot. IF you went back with recepits or the such from your past times I believe you would get reimbursed no problem.  I don't know for sure, but it doesn't hurt to try...

I just looked into this  :) on avg. shoes for running are good for 300-400 miles.  Walking shoes if used for everyday are good for 600 or so miles.  This isn't to say that once you hit this you throw them out.  Thats just the mark where the shock absorption starts to really degrade.
